Thats so odd.  I'm looking on my backend and you should have access.  Let me dig into it today and see if something is not connected

Start with a vertical timeline then you crop your footage either using a Spacial Conform or you zoom in on the footage using the scale tool and then export it once you're done with the edit

Tomas Bay Usually with these cameras if they're prone to overheat it will happen when shooting higher frame rates.  4k60 or 4k120

I think it does depend on the height difference.  It won't work in every situation but is a useful took to keep in your back pocket

Think of your viewer in the intro.  Either hook them to get them to lean in more or tell them exactly what they're going to get in this video so they know its something they want to watch

talk to text is so useful to generate a script.  Allows you to talk it through without recording yet and then you can clean it up.

This project was a tough one to film. The jetlag and intensity of the story really got to me.  Day one we got a whole deep dive into the history of the genocide which was important to understand, but emotionally tough to process.

To avoid just getting b roll, always be on the hunt for the story and see what can be captured in the moment that will progress the viewer from a to b

Everyone is in a transition phase it feels like.  Its good to have some flexibility on your channel so it can evolve with you.

For this one I used the A7C2 because I got it early before the launch and really wanted to test it on a doc shoot.  I had no issues with it overheating in Rwanda.  However, I didn't do any long 30+ min takes.  The biggest problem with these small cameras is when you are doing higher frame rate, bit rate and letting it roll for long takes.
